The first race in 10 years almost complete

After we were greeted with 25-30 knots last weekend, we finally got out for the first race of the season.



My first challenge was to learn that you must be very careful when rigging on a deck, otherwise you can loose two stay pins and a shackle pin over the course of a weekend. The second challenge was that having your spares in the garage at home doesn’t really help when you need them at the club.



The race itself was held in almost perfect conditions:
