To complement the “new" foils on my boat, Luka and I spent this evening re-doing my setup from scratch. Rudder, centreboard, gantry, wand, linkages, flaps nothing has been left how it was on Saturday.
To be honest when we sat down and analysed the setup, we are surprised that I managed to keep the boat in the water at all.
Saturday’s forecast is 10-15knots, up from the 8-13knots last week, so hopefully, I will have some better results than I have had so far, and I can actually learn how to sail the thing correctly.

Bruce, can you post a photo of how you’ve setup your linkage rod after it exits the front bulkhead tube? I’ve been getting some significant buckling/bending in my rod (yes I know it sounds painful) under compression when the wand is pushed back, which basically leads to a bit of added ‘springyness’ when the wand gets unloaded… which simply feels a bit weird. I’m contemplating extending the tube across the deck to a point a bit closer to the centreboard case in order to reduce the effective length.
