It’s pretty clear to me why everyone wants to buy the same gear as the top guys. There are two main factors in performance – gear and skill. You can buy the best gear, you can’t buy skill.
If someone is good enough to win a World Championship, then whatever gear they are using must be pretty good. Funny how Nathan can beat Bora in the Aus and US Nats, yet because Bora won the worlds, everyone wants a Mach 2.
Go figure.
