One of the new features of the iPhone and iPod touch 2.2 firmware is the ability to download podcasts without iTunes. I though I should write up a quick how to for when you are at a regatta and a new episode of your favourite moth podcast comes out.
Step 1, click on the iTunes icon to access the iTunes store. You can select the “Sports & Recreation” category, then “Outdoor”
Step 2. I would actually recommend that you click on “Search” then type in mothcast. Then select it from the list.
Step 3. You can then select the podcast to see it in the list.
Step 4. Select the show you want to download, then it will download straight to your iPhone.
Then open up the podcast in the iPod and enjoy.
