Now that the foil has cured, the rubber hinge is set to be revealed. The foil is set up in the bench and two cuts are made to get to the hinge.
The resulting cuts allow the trim flap to move freely and seems capable of sustaining the sort of forces that we expect to obtain.
Next is to create the centre board and figure out if the joint is going to be the next big problem.
