Luka’s preparation for these nationals has been the best ever for him, and it looks like all the hard work, that he and Dave have put in has paid off. He was very happy to come away with a win in the first heat today, in what Amac described (via Rohan) as a demoralising victory.

The second heat saw a 30kt breeze arrive abruptly, and expecting it to be called off, Luka sailed around very conservatively to finish behind Amac, and Bora (who doesn’t count in the Aussie results), after swimming on the way to the finish.

So they are equal first at the end of day one, bring on day two.
